كامات فورد ريسينج متميزه بأدائها القوي في زيادة سرعة السياره وقوة الـ(HP) وصوتها الغليظ المعروف من فورد ريسينج يناسب الموستنج الستوك ويتناسب مع لغمة الفورد ريسينج من (هدرز + بايبات + اقزوز) صوته جدا عالي لكن متناغم ويمثل صوت الموستنج الكلاسيكي سنة السبعينات.
تناسب الموستنج جي تي موديل 2005 الى 2010 سعة مكينه 4.6 لتر 8 سلندرفقط والذي يتكون من 3 صمامات وهي عباره عن صمامين للوقود وصمام للاقزوز. وميزه هذا الكام من فورد ريسينج انك ماتحتاج الى تبديل الصمامات يمكن تركيبه على الستوك لكن فقط تحتاج عيار الـ(SCT)
وظيفة الكام هي الحركه الدورانيه من عمودالكرنك مباشرة ويحولها الي حركه ترددية مستقيمه عندما يضغط علي دليل الصمام والياي المثبت فيه لتتم عمليه ادخال خليط الاحتراق داخل المحرك وكذلك خروج العادم من صمام اخر وبنفس الطريقه في توقيتات زمنية مرتبطة بحركة عمود الكرنك.
