Question: Short or Long Headers ::: سؤال: هدرز طويل أو قصير

This question is asked by almost all of you, which is better to have a long or short headers for the Mustang?

The answer depends on the way you drive your Mustang, and the goal of having and installing the Headers. First we will start a comparison between Short vs. Longer Headers:

• Short Headers:

Great for daily drivers with stock cars! You will notice a small gain in horsepower (usually in the range of 5 to 10 HP) and torque, and they are fairly easy to install with the proper equipment. By replacing your factory exhaust manifolds with aftermarket short headers, you allow the exhaust to flow free which lowers resistance and creates additional horsepower. Short headers can be used with the factory mid-pipe or a standard length aftermarket mid-pipe, so you only need to tune your car once you install the short headers.

**Short headers are recommended for customers with daily drivers looking for an upgrade from stock.

• Long Headers

Great for race or performance applications! Long tube headers give a nice gain in horsepower and torque depending on the headers brand and tuner used. However, long tubes are more difficult to install and needs professional installation. Long tube headers will require the use of a short mid-pipe.

**Long Headers are recommended for customers who have a strocker car and intend to race their Mustang.

Also you might consider what the Headers are made of: polished, ceramic or stainless steel, which one is better for your Mustang?

• Polished Headers ---> are great for customers looking for a car show appeal. They look great under the hood.

• Stainless Steel Headers ---> won’t tarnish or stain, but will age with the vehicle.

هذا السؤال اللي يسأله العموم, شنو يصلح حق الموستنج؟ هل الهدرز الطويل (لونق) ام القصير (شورت)؟

والاجابه تعتمد على طريقه استعمال السياره والهدف من الهدرز. نبتدي بالمقارنه بين الهدرز القصير والطويل:

• الهدرز القصير (شورت)

مناسب للموستنج الستوك او اللي عليه اغراض خفيفه .زيادة في قوة الحصان يتراوح ما بين 5 الى 10 حصان وتورق. وهذا النوع من الهدرز سهل التركيب, تستبدل هدرز الوكاله بهدرز الماركه المعينه. الهدرز القصير يسمح بسهولة عمل الاقزوز مما يقلل من الترسبات ويعزز قوة المكينه. بالاضافه الى ميزة الاحتفاض بــ(بايب الوكاله او المصنع المخصص للهدرز الوكاله. يعني باختصار الهدرز القصير بديل عن هدرز الوكاله وبس يحتاج عيار.

**الهدرز القصير يصلح حق الموستنج استعمال يومي واللي يبي يعزز من قوة الموستنج الستوك سواء قير عادي او توماتيك

• الهدرز الطويل (لونق)

 الهدرز الطويل يزيد من قوه الحصان بشكل كبير وهذا يعتمد على ماركة الهدرز والعيار المستخدم . لكن الهدرز الطويل تركيبته يبيلها واحد خبره وكراج متخصص لان عملية التركيب معقدة شوي. وهذا النوع من الهدرز يحتاج استبدال البايب الوسطي للوكاله او المصنع وتركيب بايب مخصص للهدرز الطويل.

**بختصار الهدرز الطويل حق اللي سيارته عليها اغراض او الستروكر مخصص للسيارات السباق, بالكويتي راعي الدوس سواء كان قير عادي او تماتيك.

بالاضافه الى سؤال عن نوعية الماده المستخدمه في صنع الهدرز, شنو اللي يصلح حق الموستنج, هل البوليش مثل النيكل أو الستيل أو السيراميك؟؟

• الهدرز البوليش ---> مجرد شكل لان شكله حلو ويلمع حق اللي يب يزين سيارته لكن هذا النوع مو قوي
• الهدرز الستيل ---> ميزته انه ما يصدي ولا يمسك ترسبات لكن عيبه عمره مع عمر السياره يعني ما يعمر
• الهدرز السيراميك ---> هذا احسن نوع خاص للي يبي يستفسد من قوة سيارته كامله بالاضافه الى ان السيراميك يتميز بأن ما يحبس حراراه بالعكس يطردها وهذه العمليه تزيد من قوة الحصان في الموستنج
